- Imagine Ink Terms of Service: The Imagine Ink Website
- The terms of service in this document refer to every user at the website "theimagineink.com". The phrase "Imagine Ink" below refers to any owners or moderators involved in said website.
- Usage and Misuse
- You agree that you are at least thirteen years of age.
- You agree not to distribute in any medium any part of the website, including but not limited to user submissions (defined below), without Imagine Ink's prior written authorization.
- You agree not to alter or modify any part of the website.
- You agree not to access user content nor any other content on Imagine Ink through any technology or means other than the website itself.
- You agree not to use the website for any commercial use, without the prior written authorization of Imagine Ink.
- You agree not to post content that is illegal under your local government.
- Ownership of Information
- Imagine Ink reserves no rights (aside from the right to distribute as expressed below) to any information shared on the site. None of the poems, short stories, scripts/plays, novels/novellas, nor artwork created by the users of Imagine Ink is owned by the Imagine Ink staff or team and is the sole intellectual property of the creator of said work.
- Imagine Ink has no right to distribute, modify, profit from, reproduce, nor create derivative works from anything that is produced on the site and created by a user and/or subscriber to a third party without the express written consent (via message, post, or comment) of the creator.
- Imagine Ink does, however, have the right to distribute small excerpts from your work, until deleted or removed, on "theimagineink.com" or any social media sites that Imagine Ink operates (e.g. Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Tumblr, etc.) for advertisements, such as contest adverts and examples of user work. This would only be done with your express permission.
- Imagine Ink is not responsible for user content that you read or create that offends or, in other ways, negatively impacts you, the user and/or content creator.
- If Imagine Ink finds substantial evidence that the work of another user has been posted on your account without that user's express permission, your account will, first, be suspended and then terminated if the issue is reported to us a second time.
- Any information, whether private or public (such as email addresses), and work created and/or posted to "theimagineink.com" will be deleted upon account deactivation.
- Payment details
- Imagine Ink is a free-to-use and free-to-view service, and as such, has no fee for memberships, subscriptions, usage, or viewing work that is on the site.
- Accounts and Termination
- In order to create content to be displayed on Imagine Ink, users will have to create a user account to interact with other users, post comments to work, post their own work, or participate in forums and groups.
Imagine Ink reserves the right to terminate the account of any user on the site if evidence is displayed of the user breaking the guidelines of this terms of service.
- Conversely, any user of "theimagineink.com" has the right to terminate their account on "theimagineink.com" or remove any of their work at any time for any reason at all.
- Liability
Imagine Ink is not liable for any negative experiences incurred on "theimagineink.com".
- Agreeing to the Policy
- By creating a user account on "theimagineink.com" and checking the box labelled "I agree to the terms of service below", you hereby agree to follow all policies, terms, and conditions found in this document.
Imagine Ink does reserve the right to change these terms at any point in any way they see fit. Users and Imagine Ink subscribers will be notified of any changes being made to this agreement, and these changes will be made public on all forms of social media that Imagine Ink operates along with a website link to the modified agreement.
